Suspicious fire damages collection of cars in Martinez tow yard

MARTINEZ, Calif. (KTVU) - Investigators are looking into an overnight fire that damaged a collection of cars in Martinez.

The Contra Costa Fire Protection District sent KTVU video of the damage. It showed flames and smoke covering cars at a tow yard.

About 10 cars were damaged by the fire, authorities said. They are categorizing the fire as "suspicious."

The blaze began inside a locked tow yard, said CCFPD.

No injuries were reported.
