Taxi & passengers shot at on I-80 in Richmond escape injury

RICHMOND, Calif. (KTVU) - California Highway Patrol is investigating another shooting on I-80 in Richmond that happened Sunday night around 8:30 p.m.

According to police, two gunmen in a minivan pulled up alongside a taxicab with two passengers inside heading eastbound and opened fire.

The taxi pulled off the highway and the passengers ran off on foot while the cab driver stayed behind.
No one was injured. The CHP is looking for witnesses or anyone who might have information on this latest shooting.

The only description of the suspect’s vehicle is a minivan with two men inside.
