Teen arrested in Concord for firing pellet gun at homes, cars

Concord police on Monday arrested a teen they believe is connected to a series of incidents involving someone firing a pellet gun at homes and parked cars.

Authorities say the incidents happened in the area of North Larwin Avenue and Cowell Road in Concord, as well as in the neighboring town of Clayton.

At 9:50 p.m. an officer spotted the suspect vehicle, a dark-colored GMC Yukon, driving on Clayton Rd. near Thornwood Dr.

The officer initiated a traffic stop and found that the driver of the vehicle was a juvenile.

The teen was placed under arrest for shooting at occupied homes and vehicles and sent to juvenile hall, police said.
