That Kid's Got Game: 7-year-old singer gets 'MVP of the game' nod from Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, the seven-year-old who blew the world away with a spectacular version of the national anthem before an LA Galaxy home game. 

Malea Emma Tjandrawidaja stunned a stadium and stormed through social media feeds with an uplifting, awe-inspiring rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the StubHub Center before the LA Galaxy took on the Seattle Sounders. 

The "tiny but mighty" 7-year-old singer from Los Angeles entered into a social media contest put on by the Galaxy. She was selected over “many other applicants” to sing the national anthem. And she nailed it. Absolutely nailed it.

She did so well Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic tweeted Malea was the “MVP of the Game.” The young singer won the contest behind the scenes and then showed everyone why. For that, MVP Malea is the first singer on That Kid’s Got Game
