Toddler found wandering alone, guardian found
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Christien Kafton/KTVU) - San Jose police say they have located the guardian of a toddler found wandering outside alone around 3:30 Wednesday morning.
Police made the announcement on Twitter shortly after 10 a.m.
A law enforcement source told KTVU, the guardian is the child's grandparent who looks after many children.
Officers had responded around 3:30 a.m. to a report of a toddler boy wandering with no adult supervision in the area of The Woods apartments, located at 4300 The Woods Drive, Officer Albert Morales said.
The boy was taken to a hospital to be medically cleared, Morales said.
