Suspect in Campbell toilet seat theft
CAMPBELL, Calif. (KTVU) - Campbell Police are looking for a toilet seat thief.
On November 10, 2015 a man stole an Amazon package from outside a home in the Penny Lane Townhome complex on Hamilton Avenue. The Amazon package contained a self-washing toilet seat valued at $730.
The package was left on the victim’s front porch and was stolen at approximately 10:56pm.
Campbell Police released a picture of the suspect taken from a surveillance camera. The suspect is described as an African American man, with long black, curly hair and a beard and mustache. He was wearing a grey or blue sweatshirt with the California bear on the front.

On Amazon, there are more than 200 types of self-cleaning toilet seats. The so-called “smart toilet” seats run as high as $1,300 each and include heated seats, night lights and adjustable user profiles.
