Trash fire burning near Highway 101 in San Jose contained

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - San Jose firefighters contained a trash fire burning near Highway 101 at the Alum Rock off-ramp early Saturday evening, according to officials. 

The fire burned at the Mabury Rd Corp yard, according to a tweet from San Jose fire dept.

Firefighters have established a defensive aerial stream operation, and are continuing to monitor the perimeter to make sure the fire isn't spreading.
