Two displaced by early morning Martinez fire
MARTINEZ, Calif. (BCN) - Two adults were displaced from their home on Valley Avenue by a fire early this morning, according to the Contra Costa Fire Protection District.
Fire crews responded to the fire, which was contained to the home's garage, at 4:25 a.m. and knocked it down at 4:57 a.m., Contra Costa Fire spokesman Steve Hill said.
The Red Cross is assisting two adults and a small dog.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
