Two games, two teams - one Oakland parking lot could mean more than double trouble

Two Oakland teams in two different games at the same time means double the traffic and parking headache.

The Warriors take on the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oracle Arena, while the A’s and the Cincinnati Reds face off at 7:07 p.m. at the Coliseum, both in the same sports complex.

It’s Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Semifinals for basketball fans and the series is now tied at 2.

If the Warriors lose, the next two games that means Wednesday could be the last time they play at Oracle Arena before the team’s move to San Francisco – so fans for that reason alone will likely pack the arena.

It’s also an exciting game for the A’s after pitcher Mike Fiers threw a no-hitter on Monday– the second time in his career. The baseball team takes on the Reds in Game 2 of the three-game series.

A spokesperson for the  Warriors says because of the two games taking place basically at the same time - the parking lot is expected to fill up quickly so fans are encouraged to take public transportation and get there early.
