Two injured & 25 displaced in Antioch apartment fire

Two people were hurt in an apartment fire early Saturday morning in Antioch.

The Contra Costa Fire Protection District posted several photos online of crews battling the blaze on the 3100 block of Lone Tree Way, near Dallas Ranch Road.

The fire caused an estimated million dollars in damage, burned 6 units and displaced 25 people.

 

The fire district first tweeted about the fire around 7 a.m.

The 2-alarm blaze was brought under control at 7:50 a.m.

There's no word on what may have started the blaze.

Firefighters say two people were treated for smoke inhalation, with one of them being transported to the hospital.
