Two people, ages 21 and 19, shot in Oakley

OAKLEY, Calif. (BCN) - Police in Oakley are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital. 

Officers with the Oakley Police Department responded Thursday at 8:42 p.m. to a report of a shooting on Fifth Street.

Police said the victims were a 21-year-old who was shot in the chest and a 19-year-old who was shot in the leg.  The victims were transported to the hospital.

Police said the victim who was shot in the chest is expected to survive, and the victim who was shot in the leg was released from the hospital Thursday night.  Investigators are looking for a male suspect in an unknown vehicle.
