Two shot at Oakland 'sideshow' on Halloween night

 At least two people were injured in a shooting Halloween night following a sideshow activity near 40th and Broadway in Oakland, police said.

According to a police dispatcher, the shooting was reported around 10:30 p.m. and occurred in the 3800 block of Broadway near the Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center. Sideshow activity, meaning reckless driving, also occurred at the scene, where video showed police inspecting the area near Clove and Hoof butcher shop. One witness it looked like about 200 people had congregated there.

On Sunday, multiple police agencies arrested at least five people during a sideshow event in San Jose at Hostetter Road near Interstate 680.
