Ugly mugshot prompts wanted man to text police better selfie

LIMA, Ohio (KTVU)-- - An ugly mug shot prompted a wanted man to take action… and take a selfie.

Police in Lima, Ohio posted the mug shots of 45-year-old Donald Pugh on their Facebook page after an arrest warrant was issued for failure to appear in court,

Pugh is also a person of interest in several cases including arson and vandalism.

It appears that Pugh saw the mug shots and was not a fan, so he went ahead and sent police a better picture of himself!

The department took that picture and posted it to their Facebook page as well.

They say he’s bringing more attention to himself which should make him easier to find.

As of Monday morning, police report that Pugh is still at large.
