US hits 6 million cases of COVID-19

The number of coronavirus cases reported in the US quickly reached 6 million, according to recent data from Johns Hopkins University

The university has been tallying up the nation's case count and deaths, adding a few thousand more cases Monday morning. 

California has more than 706,000 confirmed cases with more than 12,900 deaths. 

The Bay Area is approaching 85,000 cases with 1,123 deaths.
