USC grad with terminal cancer inspires others to enjoy beauty of life

LOS ANGELES (KTVU) – A USC grad who has dedicated his life to inspiring and helping others is continuing to do so after his diagnosis with terminal cancer, according to a blog he wrote for the Huffington Post.

According to a blog on the Huffington Post, 22-year-old Shalin Shah spent time before his diagnosis as president of USC's UNICEF chapter. He's also served a Peace Corps economic development volunteer in Peru.

According to the blog, Shah appreciates sunsets as a reminder that beauty can be found in the simplest things of life.

The Sunsets for Shalin Facebook page is asking everyone to take a moment each day to appreciate the beauty in life - just like Shalin does. Then share photos on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using #sunsetsforShalin.
