Valley Fire pets - lost and found
NORTH BAY (KTVU) - Some Valley Fire evacuees are still desperately searching for their pets.
Photos from local shelters show animals with singed whiskers, and burns covering their bodies.
Some of the animals will be unrecognizable to their owners.
There are numerous Facebook groups dedicated to reunited owners with pets.
Volunteers for the Facebook group Valley Fire Pet Find have been working to establish albums from all of the local shelters. In addition to the slideshow posted here - click here to see more animals waiting for their owners.
