Vehicle plows into San Jose sandwich shop

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - A San Jose shopping center suffered major damage after vehicle crashed into it early Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported at the business on Story Road near McLaughlin Avenue. 

Police tell KTVU a driver accidentally pressed on the gas as they were parking. He crashed through the front windows of Lee's Sandwiches. The car crashed through the wall into the building next door. 

Police say it appears that drugs and alcohol did not play a role. 

No one was injured in the crash.
