VIDEO: Los Angeles police seek man wanted for assaulting women at hot dog stand

Los Angeles police are asking the public's help locating a man seen punching two women in a clash at a hot dog stand.

The Los Angeles Police Department posted video on social media on Tuesday that shows a man throwing one woman to the ground, then punching a second woman as she approaches.

Investigators said the assault happened in downtown LA on Saturday night.

The attacker is seen punching the first woman as she stands and hits the second again as she appears to be standing still, knocking her down. He then punches the first woman once again as she winds up to hit him, also knocking her to down.

"Attention Los Angeles," police said in a post on Facebook, "this guy brutally punched two women at a hotdog stand on Jan. 26 in the area of 6th & Spring. Someone knows him, and we would like to be one of those people."

In the video, multiple bystanders are seen remaining passive during the attack, but one person is heard shouting, "Get him!" as the man jogs away.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
