SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - A self-described Norteno Backwoods gang member was mistakenly released from jail due to a court clerical error.
San Francisco Sheriff's Office says Victor Rodriguez, 20, was released from jail August 31.
According to the Sheriff's Office he has a violent history while in custody and there is an active bench warrant for his arrest.
Authorities say Rodriguez has made threats against law enforcement and was said to have been overheard making a statement that when he gets out, he was planning on getting his AK, keeping it in his car so when he gets pulled over he could kill some cops.
Rodriguez is described as 5'8", 150 lbs., has brown eyes and no facial hair.
