Warm, sunny weather headed our way

Temperatures will be in the 70’s in most Bay Area cities on Monday, and more warm weather could be on the way for the rest of the week.

KTVU meteorologist Rosemary Orozco says temperatures will be slightly above the seasonal average.

It’s going to be dry and mild Monday afternoon.

According to Rosemary, new records could be set in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose.

The high temperature Sunday in downtown Oakland and at the Oakland International Airport was at a record level, National Weather Service officials said.

The temperature at both locations was 74 degrees.

That broke a record at the airport of 69 degrees set in 1963 and a record in downtown Oakland of 72 degrees set in 1987.
