Warriors tailgate party before first playoff game
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Houston, you have a problem!
The Golden State Warriors finished with 73 wins - an NBA regular season record.
Saturday, they begin their playoff run in to repeat as NBA champions.
The top seeded Warriors face the 8th seeded and underdog Houston Rockets.
Before the game, Stephen Curry practiced his array of shots, and as usual, took time to sign a few fan autographs.
there is also a festive atmosphere outside Oracle Arena.
The team hosted a fan rally, called the "Warriors Ground Tailgate."
The free event included giveaways, a basketball court for fans to shoot some hoops, Warriors merchandise, and food trucks.
The game is sold out.
