WATCH: Inmates pay respect as anthem plays

It's not uncommon for people to pause and pay their respects when the national anthem is being played.  It happens every day at military bases, sporting events, and plenty of other places. But a jail?

Video of two Florida inmates -- stopping in the middle of their work detail as the Star-Spangled Banner plays -- was shared Wednesday night by the Martin County Sheriff's Office.

"They were not aware that they were being taped as they took part in this amazing gesture of respect," the sheriff's office post explained.  "It says a lot."
