Woman arrested after allegedly assaulting police officer in Emeryville
EMERYVILLE, Calif. (KTVU) - A woman who allegedly attacked a police officer was arrested early this morning after a melee at the Denny's restaurant on Powell Street in Emeryville, police said.
Officers responded around 4 a.m. to a call of 10 to 15 people fighting, with a baseball bat being wielded, at the Denny's at 1776 Powell Street, police said.
As the officers worked to separate the combatants, a woman attacked an officer, police said.
Kamisha Haley, 35, of Oakland, was arrested on suspicion of battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, according to police.
