Woman arrested after man found suffering from stab wound

A 56-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to engage in sexually-related animal crimes with an undercover police officer.

Deputies arrested a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of assault Friday morning near Santa Rosa after she allegedly stabbed a man who was involved in a fight with her boyfriend, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department.

Around 11 a.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Fulton Road in the unincorporated community of Fulton after learning a physical altercation between two men had taken place.

Upon arrival, deputies found the victim lying on the ground and bleeding from a stab wound to the chest.

Deputies then located the other person who was involved in the fight, according to sheriff's officials.

After speaking with the victim, the other man involved in the fight and witnesses at the scene, deputies learned the fight began because the victim refused to give the other man a cigarette.

Deputies also learned the man's girlfriend had participated in the fight.

The woman, identified as Christina Urrutia, allegedly hit the victim in the chest, where the stab wound was later located, however, deputies were unable to locate any weapons at the scene, sheriff's officials said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Sheriff's deputies then arrested the Urrutia on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and booked her into the Sonoma County Jail with bail set at $30,000, according to sheriff's officials.
