Woman crossing street fatally struck in SF hit-and-run
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco police responded to a hit-and-run early Wednesday morning where a woman crossing the street was fatally struck and was pronounced dead after she was taken to the hospital.
Police identified her as a 58-year-old woman.
Police said the woman was crossing Bush Street at Leavenworth Street when she was struck by a dark colored vehicle just before 3:30 a.m. Police did not indicate if the woman was in the crosswalk or not.
The driver fled, police said.
