Woman grazed in cheek by gunshot in Bayview

A woman was grazed in the cheek by a gunshot in San Francisco's Bayview District on Tuesday evening, police said.

The shooting was reported at 7:26 p.m. in the 1200 block of Egbert Avenue.

The 34-year-old woman was grazed in her right cheek by a bullet and was transported to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, according to police.

The suspect, described as a male in his mid to late teens, was seen fleeing the area in a gray four-door sedan and remained at large as of Wednesday morning, police said.
