Woman in wheelchair hit, killed by truck
SANTA CLARA (BCN) - A pickup truck struck a woman in a wheelchair in Santa Clara Monday morning, killing her, California Highway Patrol officers said.
The crash was reported at 6:31 a.m. on Lawrence Expressway at Cabrillo Avenue.
Firefighter paramedics performed CPR on the woman at 6:42 a.m. before pronouncing her dead at around 6:45 a.m, CHP officers said.
No further information was immediately available.
