SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - A woman on roller skates was struck and seriously injured by a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus in the city's Pacific Heights neighborhood on Tuesday evening, police said.
Police said the 35-year-old woman was roller-skating in the second lane of California Street at Lyon Street around 6 p.m. when she was struck from behind by a bus.
She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The collision involved an outbound 1BX-California line bus, according to Muni spokesman Paul Rose.
The driver will be placed on non-driving status pending the result of the investigation into the collision, Rose said.
