Women dead, 3 others hurt in San Jose 3-car crash

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) -- - San Jose police are investigating a three car crash that killed a woman and sent three other people to the hospital Wednesday night.

Officers received a call at 7:30 p.m. about a major injury traffic collision at Summerside Drive and McLaughlin Avenue, near Interstate 101 and Tully Road.

When officers arrived, they discovered that all the cars were severely damaged.

One woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three other victims were taken to local hospitals, with non-life threatening injuries.
