Workers at Contra Costa County care home to receive more than $1M in backpay
Workers at eight Contra Costa County care homes will be getting $1.15 million in backpay owed to them.
The county's District Attorney said this week that 56 workers were not paid minimum wage or for the overtime they worked. The money will soon be distributed to them.
The property owners operated under the names of Abraham/Sanchez Corporation and Abraham Rest Home Inc.
