World Kindness Day to be celebrated in San Francisco

November 13 is World Kindness Day and it's being celebrated in the Bay Area.

San Francisco will join 100 other cities around the world in the fifth annual event.

The local celebration will be at Willie Mays Plaza and AT & T Park.

People are being asked to wear orange and join the flashmob dance. Participants will meet at 11and the events go until 12:30 this afternoon.

The idea is to have people around the world dancing the same steps and poses, to the same song, on the same day, all around the world.
