Giants' Joe Panik scratched due to concussion symptoms

(KTVU) - The San Francisco Giants scratch second baseman Joe Panik from starting lineup vs Oakland Athletics Tuesday night, due to concussion like symptoms. Panik was hit in the head by a pitch on June 18, while playing the Tampa Bay Rays. He didn't initially show any symptoms of a concussion days after, but started showing symptoms Tuesday. Panik batting .256 with 7 HR's and 36 RBI this season.
