Tuesday marks the deadline for the credit card industry to comply with President Trump's self-imposed deadline of a 10% cap on interest rates. Researchers from Vanderbilt found, Americans would save roughly $100 billion in interest each year if rate were capped at the proposed 10%. Though, economists warn that it could cut credit to consumers, particularly those who are low-income, or have low credit scores.
