Netflix announced Monday that the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay have teamed up to create a series about his life.

The couple is giving $40 million to each of three institutions: the United Negro College Fund, Spelman College and Morehouse College. The organizations said it is the largest individual gift in support of student scholarships at HBCUs.

“During this difficult time, I hope you’ll find some inspiration and joy in this film,” the former first lady wrote on Twitter.

The Google Chrome app enables Netflix users to chat about their favorites shows and movies in real time.

Netflix's customer service hotline and website acknowledged the outage, saying it was affecting stream on all devices.
