Bloomberg received a last minute boost Tuesday in a national poll that allowed him to qualify for the Democratic primary debate Wednesday in Nevada.

Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign rally in Richmond was briefly disrupted by topless protesters on Monday. 

Tuesday is the last day to register to vote in California's presidential primary on March 3, Super Tuesday.

Bernie Sanders said that he believes housing is not only a crisis in the Bay Area, but is also a national issue. 

On Thursday, California's Legislature is expected to approve a resolution offering an apology to Ouchida and other internment victims for the state's role in aiding the U.S. government's policy and condemning actions that helped fan anti-Japanese discrimination.

Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg all targeted billionaire Mike Bloomberg, accusing him of buying his way into the election and making clear they were eager to take him on in a debate.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. at the Craneway Pavilion, 1414 Harbour Way South in Richmond, with the rally running from noon to 3 p.m.

The daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump was delivering the keynote address at the two-day Global Women’s Forum held in an opulent resort overlooking the city's Persian Gulf coastline.

During services on Sunday morning at Brookland Baptist Church, Pastor Charles B. Jackson, Sr. mentioned applying for a grant from Steyer’s foundation in conjunction with renovations at Lakeview Empowerment Center.

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg brought his campaign to the Bay Area on Friday. 

The Democratic candidates for president are turning their focus toward the West this week.  Nevada holds caucuses on February 22nd and California voters are already voting early leading up to the Golden State's March 3rd primary.
