The Supreme Court on Friday granted the Trump Administration's emergency appeal to temporarily block a court order to fully fund SNAP payments amid the ongoing federal government shutdown. That ruling came shortly after a federal appeals court declined to suspend court orders requiring the administration to fund the program. Meanwhile Democrats proposed a compromise to reopen the government that was quickly rejected by Republican legislators.

Over the years, the nonprofit has stepped up to meet the growing needs of the community, providing free clothing, medical services and support to those struggling with addiction. David Chavez, a recent graduate of the Saint Anthony Foundation Father Alfred Center and addiction treatment program for men joined us on The Four to talk about his experience.
