Bay Area airports report significant increase with holiday travel
Travel experts projected Friday would be the busiest day for visitors making their way in and out of the Bay Area. Oakland International Airport is expecting 280,000 travelers. San Jose Mineta Airport says travel was up 4% this May over last year. SFO is projecting 735,000 passengers would make their way in and out of the airport this holiday weekend.
