Kaiser hospital workers vote to authorize strike

Starting Saturday, around 85,000 Kaiser Permanente union members will vote on whether to authorize a strike. The members include nursing assistants, lab and pharmacy technicians and housekeepers at Kaiser Hospitals in seven states and Washington, DC. Their unions say they make up about 40% of Kaiser's workforce.
