BBB: more Americans falling victim to gift card scams

According to the Better Business Bureau, a growing number of Americans are falling victim to gift card scams. Reports are up 50% compared to last year and retailers are looking for ways to stop the trend. The BBB found that new technology is helping reduce the scams, as fraudsters develop new techniques.
