Preventing and treating Alzheimer's disease
While there is no known cure for Alzheimer's, there are a number of new medications and treatments that have shown the ability to slow its progression. Some of the latest medications include Leqembi, Aduhelm, and Prexpiprazole and at least 140 other therapies are currently being tested. KTVU's Alex Savidge speaks with Claire Day, Chief Program Officer of the Alzheimer's Association of Northern California and Northern Nevada about the advancements made to fight the disease.
