700 mile hike raises money for veterans and first responders
John and Cory Preston made it a mission to bring awareness to the mental health struggles that veterans and first responders struggle with every day. They walked from South Carolina to Ohio, totaling to 700 miles, 22 miles a day for the 22 veterans who die every day from suicide. They also carried 22 kilos (50 lbs.) on the trek. John and Cory Preston spoke with KTVU to talk about the journey.
