MDMA Therapy to treat PTSD patients
Another unique way to help treat post-traumatic stress disorder. MDMA is commonly known as ecstasy or Molly. If approved, it would be the first ever psychedelic approved for psychotherapy. The drug would be administered to qualifying PTSD patients. We're joined by Dylan Jouris, who is a veteran and Purple Heart recipient who has used MDMA therapy to treat his PTSD.
