U.S. Education Department testing new FAFSA form
The U.S. Department of Education is testing its new FAFSA form. Hundreds of students are taking part in the testing period, which is meant to address any issues before the 2025-2026 FAFSA is released nationwide in December. Federal aid for students has been delayed for two straight years due to ongoing problems with the program. Jennifer Finetti, the director of student advocacy at ScholarshipOwl, joined us on 'The Nine' to talk more about what students can expect this year.
