Experts warn the dangers of lead during Lead Poison Prevention Week
Lead poisoning is a hidden danger that can affect both children and adults, leaving experts to suggest it's more common than you might think. In fact, it's used in several products people come into contact with on a daily basis, including imported spices, paint and glass used in older homes, and water from old pipes. Dr. Rais Vohra, the medical director for the Fresno/Madera division of the California Poison Control System, joined us on 'The Nine' for more insight.
