Avoiding Holiday Scams
The holiday season is here, and unfortunately, so are the scams. A new report from the AARP Fraud Watch Network reveals that more than 80% of consumers nationwide have faced some sort of fraud this year, whether it's gift card scams or phishing attempts disguised as delivery updates. Many shoppers remain unaware of the risks that they might encounter online. Kathy Stokes, the director of fraud prevention programs at AARP Fraud Watch Network joined us on 'The Nine' to tell us what to look out for.
