FBI Warns Against Unencrypted text messages amid major cyber breach
The FBI is advising iPhone and Android users to avoid sending unencrypted text messages between operating systems. The warning follows an alleged cyber breach by a Chinese hacking group known as "Salt Typhoon." Authorities report the hackers have targeted major telecommunications companies such as T-Mobile and Verizon, spying on customers' phones in what is being called one of the largest intelligence breaches in U.S. history.
