Mount Lyell Shrew photographed alive for the first time
You can now feast your eyes on the mysterious and very elusive Mount Lyell Shrew. It's a shy little creature. In fact, this is the first time this creature has ever been photographed alive before. According to the California Academy of Sciences, it is the only mammal species here in California to have eluded human cameras. And it's all thanks to some very curious Cal Berkeley graduates who made it their quest to capture a photo of this particular shrew up in the High Sierra. Photographer Vishal Subramanyan, who was a part of the crew from UC Berkeley joined us on 'The Four' with the remarkable story behind these photographs.
