Santa Clara County buys 250 bed hospital, re-opens trauma center
Santa Clara County Tuesday closed on a deal to purchase Regional Medical Center in east San Jose and immediately re-opened the Level II Trauma Center at the facility. Leaders say the move will improve health care outcomes and provide better access to disadvantaged communities.
