Bay Area residents jam DMV offices to beat Real ID deadline, which feds won't start to enforce Wednesday

The U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security on Tuesday announced travelers who don't hold a Real ID will still be allowed to take domestic flights, although there will be an added security step. This, as thousands of Bay Area residents raced to DMV officers to apply for the new identification card.
