A California safety group will join Amtrak and other rail officials on Tuesday to remind people to be safe at railroad crossings. This is part of a nationwide effort hosted by California Operation Lifesaver to raise awareness about railroad safety and that a person is hit by a train every three hours in the United States. California ranks No. 1 for train deaths. Police officers will be out enforcing ?Operation Clear Track? on Tuesday to remind people off railroad crossing and trespassing laws. Allie Rasmus reports
